yes, we fell in love with Kyoto too from the mad Toei film studio park where we learned to be ninjas, serene gardens of the Kinkaku-ji Temple (Golden Temple), Ginkaku-ji Temple (Silver Pavilion) and Ryoan-ji Temple, to the beautiful Arashiyama temple and bamboo forest and then the shopping……buying new and antique hand-made items in 100-year-old shops. Oh, and a night in a ryokan that was heavenly.
