At bit of culture with a great exhibition at the Kunstmuseum in Bern,, a bit of contemporary dance by the Bern dance company and a drum and bass clubnight at the Reiteschule squatted riding school venue.
Malvy’s school did a Spirit Week – spookily the same week as Halloween but we can’t call it that! She went as Patti Smith and baked her world-famous chocolate brownies for a Halloween party.
Malvy has been wanting to fly by herself for years and she finally did. A long weekend back to London to see family. As an Unaccompanied Minor she got to be accompanied by an Unaccompanied Toaster, aka Lee Scratch Perry who lives in Switzerland. She handled it well as he is not your most regular looking guy and her mother insisted on shaking his hand and introducing her to him. Oh, and he followed her off the plane at Heathrow as I think he thought he would be accompanied there.
