So, after 5 years it is time to leave Jakarta! We never expected to stay so long and have made such good friends that saying goodbye was hard. Thank you to all our friends for all the good times, support and, for just being there. We will miss spending time with you there but looking forward to more good times in France or wherever we meet up in this wide and wonderful world.
Thank you to all the wonderful people at FMCH Indonesia-YBS. I enjoyed working with you so much and I will treasure my ondel ondel bag.
We couldn’t have left without a celebration with our nearest and dearest. Thank you to everyone who sent us off so well and for the great presents which are now happily sitting in our house.
So after organising, packing and partying, time to actually leave and start our next chapter in South West France.
We arrived on a cold, sunny day in Toulouse, to a taxi drivers’ strike. Bienvenue a la France!!
Our time here so far has been busy! Hard to believe it is already 8 weeks.
First things first, may I introduce the newest member of the family, M Picsou who we adopted from an animal refuge in Toulouse. He is a great dog and we are so happy to have him.
A taste of what we have been up to….. brocante, moving (Kutty has so enjoyed moving boxes and boxes of books!), gardening, wine, walking in the countryside with Picsou and lunch in the sun of course!
Spring is springing, so we are seeing blossom on the trees and flowers and blue skies…..loving it.
